About Happy Life by Design

The Beginning

In 1986, while riding a city bus to work in Denver, Colorado, a lady asked if she could sit next to me and we began talking. After riding with her for 3 days, she gave me a copy of Jose Silva’s Mind Control Method and the 100th Monkey.

I started reading about how our thoughts create our reality.

Books literally started falling off of book store shelves and landing at my feet.

“Ken Kesey’s Handbook to Higher Consciousness” “Paramahansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi”

I started meditating and continued learning.

Life happened.

The Middle

While teaching at-risk students at a juvenile court facility in Independence, MO, a Youth Counselor (Guard) came into my office. He was a big guy from New Zealand. Mr. Taula told me that he had heard about a “Women’s Empowerment Event” that was being held in downtown, Kansas City. He said that I was “supposed” to attend it and he wasn’t leaving my office until I bought tickets. I was a teacher, raising my daughter, and I did not have any extra money for a ticket. Mr Taula didn’t want to hear excuses and would not leave. I put the ticket on my credit card.

After hearing Louise Hay (Hay House Publishing) and Terrah K. Collins (Western School of Feng Shui) talk, I read every book that I could find on Feng Shui and then applied for Terrah’s school in California.

I completed the advanced training in April of 2000.

The Present

After doing hundreds of Feng Shui consultations for friends and family over the past 25 years, I have seen enough, experienced enough, and facilitated enough jaw-dropping, successful outcomes to finally feel like I’ve done enough research to bring these ideas and techniques to you.

I want everyone to have a chance to experience and benefit from this and I am passionate about sharing it with you now.
