Q: Is a Feng Shui Consultation right for me?

People have been using Feng Shui knowledge and tools for over 3000 years. My teacher commented....things that don’t work, don’t last. Feng Shui has lasted.
It’s one of those things that many, many very successful people know about and use, but for some reason, it almost feels like it has been kept a secret from the working class.
Have you heard the expression, “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer”?
That is Feng Shui at work.
Our environments, what we reflect back to ourselves, affect our perspective and thus our behavior.
When we feel energized, we react differently than when we feel overwhelmed. When we feel abundant, we make different decisions than when we feel impoverished. People born into poverty rarely move much beyond that. People born into wealth often get wealthier.
During Feng Shui school in 1999, our teacher included a print out from either Time or Life magazine. It was about a young, American, real estate developer who had hired Feng Shui Consultants for each of his hotels. The young, American real estate developer was Donald J.Trump.

My teacher also talked about a celebrity (and I don’t remember which one) who hired a Feng Shui consultant and the consultant for some crazy, unknown reason suggested adding a fountain to the bedroom. It was likely in the wealth area of the house, but not a good idea and definitely not in-sync with Practical Feng Shui. The result was that the sound of running water, made the client wake up at night in order to use the restroom and the fountain was ultimately removed.
Another person was told to put Chinese stuff all around and that was not her style at all. She felt embarrassed and` that is not good Feng Shui.
At the Western School of Feng Shui, we were taught to tailor each consultation to the person that we are helping. If our client doesn’t feel comfortable with Asian decor, we don’t use it. If they do, we do. If a person likes muted colors, we work with muted colors. The individual is key. The Feng Shui advice that we give is simply a tool to help each individual create a better, happier life.
